Kelly Gruber, the greatest third baseman in Toronto Blue Jay history, spent 10 years in the Majors, earning an All-Star invite in 1989 and the coveted Gold Glove for his fielding in 1990. Also, in 1990, he received the Silver Slugger award for his best offensive year, stroking 31 homers and 36 doubles, knocking in 118 RBI’s. Kelly won his World Series ring with the Blue Jays in 1992, contributing big-time with a huge game-tying homerun in game 3!
